GUILFORD, Conn. – June 27, 2019 – Guardian Jet, the Guilford, Connecticut-based business aviation consulting and aircraft brokerage firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Samantha Langen to the position of Sales Director, Midwest.
In her new role, Langen will oversee aircraft sales, acquisitions and consulting services in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. She previously served as the company’s Inside Sales Manager.
“What I love about Sam’s rise in our company is that she came to us with an MBA and worked in our consulting business, which is a great foundation for understanding the needs of our clients,” explained Don Dwyer, Managing Partner of Guardian Jet. “From there, Sam became an internal sales person and then led our internal sales team. I’m really excited to see what she can do in a territory.”
In addition to her tenure at Guardian Jet, Langen also worked for Clariant, as a Senior Global Marketing Coordinator, marketing chemical components to Fortune 500 companies.
“Having worked in various capacities but more ‘behind the scenes,’ Langen said, “I’m eager to put my decades worth of experience and education to work directly with clients. I know first-hand the sources for Guardian Jet’s proprietary market data, as well as how it provides direct value to our clientele, so I’m going to be able to apply that knowledge to deliver exactly what our brokerage clients crave.”
Langen holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, both from Johnson & Wales University, in Providence, Rhode Island.
