Greg Weldele

As Vice President for Guardian Jet’s South Central region, Greg Weldele is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with the firm’s brokerage and consulting clients in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico.

Greg is extremely well-positioned to lead his Guardian Jet team in these efforts. He brings to the company an extensive, 20+ year background in business aviation leadership, encompassing both domestic and international markets in direct sales origination, underwriting and risk and legal analysis.

Prior to his position with Guardian Jet, Greg served as Regional Sales Director for Embraer Executive Jets, where he was responsible for sales of new and pre-owned business jets in Texas and Louisiana that totaled more than $750 million.

From 2009 to 2014, Greg was the South American Sales Director for Bank of America’s Global Corporate Aircraft Finance Division, and then from 2015 to 2018 he served as the U.S. Midwest Sales Director. Greg began his career with BofA’s Aircraft Finance Division in 2007 as a Business Development Officer.

Greg has also enjoyed a series of aviation-related career advancements at The Royal Bank of Scotland, Merrill Lynch Capital and the Provident Financial Group, Inc.

Greg earned a B.S. in Finance at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He also studied International Economics at Miami University’s John E. Dolibois European Center in Luxembourg.

Conversant in Portuguese, Greg has earned an extensive array of accolades and awards throughout his career, including, in both 2011 and 2012, having been named Top Performer for Bank of America’s Corporate Aircraft Group. He also won BofA’s Best Young Player award in 2010 and tied for Embraer’s Top Regional Sales Director (North America) in 2021.
